I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I volunteered for rescues while still in high school and fell in love with helping animals. I didn’t expect to turn that passion into a career, but life works in mysterious ways and I couldn’t be happier than where I ended up. Now I turn my focus to helping the next generation of pet care providers become the industry’s best.

Her diverse background spans dog training, grooming, behavior consulting, pet care management, and service dog training.
Amanda began her career in the early 2000s, working in rescue where she developed a strong foundation in animal handling and care. Over the decades, she transitioned into training and behavior work, earning certifications in canine behavior, obedience instruction, and service dog task training. She has successfully trained hundreds of dogs—from beloved family pets to working service dogs—always emphasizing ethical, science-based methods grounded in trust and positive reinforcement.
In recent years, Amanda has focused on educating fellow professionals, mentoring up-and-coming trainers, and developing curriculum for industry training programs.
Amanda is passionate about elevating standards across the pet industry. She continues to advocate for responsible boarding practices, positive reinforcement training, and pet-centric care in all aspects of the industry. Whether she’s leading workshops, coaching teams, or working one-on-one with dogs and their people, Amanda brings knowledge, heart, and professionalism to every interaction.
